This training, facilitated by a practicing psychiatrist, provides clinicians with practical knowledge of the major categories of psychiatric medication, their effects, and common side effects. Participants will also learn strategies for supporting medication adherence among individuals living with serious mental illness. In alignment with best practice standards, this training strengthens participants' assessment and diagnostic skills, helping them collaborate more effectively with psychiatric providers on behalf of shared clients.
